According to the March 26, 2021 Baltimore City Covid-19 restrictions, religious facilities are limited to 50% capacity. In-person worship at Zion Church has resumed with appropriate precautions to protect safety and health, in accordance with CDC recommendations. In order to attend in-person worship, everyone will be required to wear a face covering to protect themselves and other worshippers. Seating in the sanctuary is designated to maintain physical distancing. More information about what to expect is in the following video about re-opening at Zion:
Sunday services are held at 9:30 a.m. in German and at 11:00 a.m. in English. We will be livestreaming and recording the services for those who wish to participate in worship from their homes.
The Wednesday Prayer Service at 12:20 p.m. is currently suspended. In lieu of this service, a Wednesday Noon Bible Conversation group meets via Zoom. Click here for Zoom details.
As the status of the pandemic involves changing metrics, Zion’s leadership will continue to monitor the situation, and if metrics rise above a safe level, we may have to resume all-virtual services. If that occurs, we will provide as much advance notice as we are able.
