A prayer for our country
"ALMIGHTY GOD , who hast given us this good land for our heritage; we humbly beseech thee that we may always prove ourselves a people mindful of thy favor and glad to do thy will. Bless our land with honorable industry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion; from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people the multitudes brought hither out of many kindreds and tongues. Endue with the spirit of wisdom those to whom in thy Name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that, through obedience to thy law, we may show forth thy praise among the nations of the earth. In the time of prosperity, fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust in thee to fail. Give us grace to encourage one another. All which we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen"

THANK YOU

Music Director John Heizer

CELEBRATE 35 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO WORSHIP AND MUSIC AT ZION CHURCH

As we rejoice in our musical praise to the Lord at Zion, we are grateful to our Music Director, John Heizer, for his dedication to the fine music in worship that we treasure so much.  This year marks John’s anniversary of 35 years at Zion Church as organist and choir director.  We extend our gratitude and appreciation to John for his loyal service!  As our organist, John has played and devotedly cared for Zion’s ailing organ longer than any of his predecessors.  Many of you are aware that Zion’s organ, after 50 years of service, is in need of costly restoration.  What a wonderful tribute it would be to commemorate John’s 35th anniversary by making a contribution to the Zion Organ Fund!  It is our hope that the Zion tradition of great music will continue through your financial support.
