Vocal Music from Bach's Passions and Cantatas (Organ Fund)
Zion Church will host a concert featuring vocal concert of music from Johann S. Bach’s Passions and Cantatas, sung by guest artist Christopher Edwards.
Suggested Donation is $10.00 per ticket. Proceeds will benefit the Zion Church Organ Fund.

Christopher Edwards is a second-year M.M. student in Voice at the Peabody Institute studying under William Sharp. Christopher is a winner of the 2016 Biennial Bach Vocal Competition hosted by the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, and has appeared as a soloist in the choir’s popular Bach at Noon concert series. At Peabody, Christopher has performed George Jones in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene and Guglielmo in Così fan tutte, performing the latter with the Charleston Symphony as part of a special collaboration between the CSO and Peabody. Christopher is the recipient of Peabody’s G. Raymond Ziegler Endowed Scholarship as well as the Douglas and Hilda Perl Goodwin Endowed Scholarship for Opera.
Christopher earned his Bachelor of Music with highest honors and distinction in the major from UC Santa Barbara, where he performed Bartolo in The Barber of Seville and Feste in the West Coast premier of faculty member Joel Feigin’s Twelfth Night. Christopher is an alumnus of the Songfest Young Artist Program. This season at Peabody, Christopher will perform the title role in Le Nozze di Figaro and Papageno for Peabody Opera Outreach’s reimagining of The Magic Flute.
